About

  • I live with my son, Ben; my husband, Troy; our dog, Sam and our cat, Finnigan.
  • I have always enjoyed writing. When I was in public school in grade two a poem I wrote, “Two Bears,” was published in a Durham Region Collection of student writing called “Pandora’s Box.”
  • Since then I’ve been fortunate to have some other writing published: I’ve included a list of my writing credits here in the “About” section. The two kinds of writing that I enjoy most are writing fiction for children and young adult readers and writing creative non-fiction about my experiences as a mom.
  • Other than writing, I love to design and plant the garden at my home. I love playing around with my camera to learn more about photography and I find drawing and painting are also great ways to express my creativity.
